mission & principles
Here at Avecco Design it is our mission to be a cost-effective solution for the design and drafting of beautiful homes for our occupants visual, health and lifestyle comforts. We believe our homes should integrate seamlessly into the surrounding natural environment. That they are both sustainable and efficient by using renewable resources and reducing building energy consumption through thoughtful passive design.
We are responsible in our method of designing homes through efficiency, buildability and quality of documentation. This benefits both our customers financial cost of their home and reducing complexity for our builders.
With 15 years’ experience in residential design and construction both onsite and in office Avecco Design is capable of small to highly complex projects. Our core values are honesty, quality and efficiency through smart planning. We hope to work with you today.
oWNER & bUILDING DESIGNER
Jeremy Verhey has been designing and detailing homes in South East Queensland direct to customers and for Australia’s largest home builders for the last 15 years. Growing up in a family in construction company, Jeremy is a carpenter, building supervisor and building designer and has worked on a diverse portfolio of projects. This includes renovations, additions, relocatable houses, townhouses, units and commercial projects.
With an onsite background and long experience, Jeremy has a high-level understanding of the implications to the builder of a highly complex project. He understands reducing complexity is achieved with quality documentation and the ability to creatively think. Additionally, being regularly involved in construction development, Jeremy is uniquely placed to understand the needs of an investment project.
